Family Time!

This year we stayed in Springfield and spent time with my dad and Mary and their family and Steve's family as well. Here we are making the rounds and opening up lots of presents.

How long does it take to put together the car? 75 minutes and a rite of passage for dad

So tired after 3 days of fun...

Santa Came!

Kylan woke up in such a great mood Christmas morning! I think he was super excited to hear that Santa filled his stocking. We had fun opening stockings and presents all morning. Kylan loved touching everything and tested them all by putting them in his mouth.

Checking out the loot

I got this as a joke- Steve watches Rocky way too much (whenever it is on tv) and I though Kylan needed to be introduced to the movie

Kylan was surprisingly good at opening presents. He loved putting the paper and ribbon in his mouth.

Yeah- booties from Grandma

Christmas Eve

Unfortunately this year on Christmas Eve Steve and I were not feeling that well. Kylan was fine though. So instead of doing the usual family stuff we stayed home and didn't do much but play by the tree and watch movies all day.

Winston was just as interested in the ornament as Kylan

6 months!

So after two trips to take his 6 month photos these were the best. The first trip he was very tired and super fussy so we left after one picture. This time it went better but still not that great. Kylan got mad every time Steve would set him down by himself and walk away. Here are our favorites.

It's hard to believe that 6 months has already gone by since Kylan was born. Everyone tells you that it goes by fast, but they are not kidding. Looking back at newborn pictures is seems so recent yet so long ago. We are having so much fun being a little family. What an amazing gift he is.

Happy Birthday Mommy and GO DUCKS!!

On Tuesday Kylan surprised me at school with a birthday balloon, flowers and cookies for the class. It was such a great surprise and the kids loved meeting Kylan almost as much as eating the cookies!

Also- in case you were on another planet Thursday and missed the duck game... Way to the beat the beavs!! Here we started the day in our civil war gear.
