On the airplane, landing in LA. Kylan did great but didn't like how his tummy flopped as we were landing. This is one of his "whoas!"
We went back to the Getty again since we loved it so much the first time. Here we are in the same spot we took a pic two years ago but now we have a little man with us.
Daddy helped dip Ky's hands in the creek on the super hot day. He was told to stop 30 seconds later.
We stayed two nights at Rick's place. Kylan swept his marble floors with this perfect little broom (not sure how Rick used it) for at least 3 hours each day. We came home and bought one right away.
We made it to San Diego on our 4th day and headed straight out to the beach. Our condo was just steps away-so perfect. Here Kylan is anticipating the wave....
And the wave got him.
This patio deck was right off our place and on the boardwalk. We ate lots of meals out here. It was wonderful.
The Zoo! One of the big highlights of the trip. Kylan wasn't too sure about this panda however.
One of his favorite exhibits was the camels. He talked a lot about the camels!
Another major hit at the zoo was the petting area. The ponies and sheep were tired (and penned up) but Kylan didn't care. He loved on and petted lots of goats!
We had to wait 20 minutes in line to see the pandas. They were so cute.
We spent one day just playing on the beach. A little bummed because it was only 70 degrees out while it was 100 degrees back home in Eugene. Who would have thought?!Rick and Brian pulling Ky on the boogie board; we were so glad Brian got to spend so much time with us.
Had dinner at Waverly, a place where you can watch surfers ride on a wave machine. Very cool! What a great trip!
