Ducks and Halloween

We started the weekend with a trip to the Duck Shop for new shirts. We also found a few places for pictures.

Later, watching the game with Logan and friends.

Carving pumpkins

What is in there??

Trick or Treat! Knocking on Grandma's door.

Steve did a great job carving our pumpkins this year

Yeah! I got pretzels!

Carnival

Thursday we went to the carnival at Kylan's school. He wore his Tiger costume and we went from room to room playing games.

Fishing with dad.

Kylan was really good at this game. He tossed bean bags like crazy until we had to drag him away so the next boy could play.

Roar!

Pumpkin Patch

This weekend Grandma came to visit and we headed out to the Pumpkin Patch in between bursts of rain. We made it without getting soaked!

As soon as Kylan saw the horses from 20 feet away he started screaming "neigh, neigh!" The only animal sound he knows.

It was so fun having Grandma here!

Not so sure about the donkeys.

When the ride dropped us off Ky was so excited to run through the field screaming.

Still working hard to get a decent smile when you say "smile!"

Tough guy! He was grunting like crazy trying to pick this up!

Towards the end of the trip he found this little pumpkin all by himself and carried it around until we left.

And running through the hay maze.

Backyard

Last week I came home early with Ky to have some time to play in the backyard. With the weather changing we don't have very many afternoons left to play.

Kylan loves cherry tomatoes. Every day in the summer he would pick out at least 10 to eat. Red or green, he didn't seem to mind!

He loves climbing up and down the play structure all by himself.

Hmmmm, how can I pet him without getting swiped?

Hunting for strawberries... only a few left.

Yikes! A bitter one!

OMSI

Last weekend we went to visit Jaron and Carly (for Grandpa Griffin's birthday) in Portland. We went to OMSI for the afternoon. Kylan loved the kids play area.

He climbed up this thing at least a dozen times. Climbing is his new favorite thing.

Playing cards in the tree tunnel.

Hanging with the eagles in the giant nest.

Kylan was definitely the loudest kiddo in the tumbling block area. He would climb on the tallest block and screech until everyone within earshot would smile or pay attention.

Such a silly boy.

Dinner fun with uncle Jaron.
