At the beginning of May (yes, I'm a little behind...) we went to the Oregon Ag Fest in Salem. My friend MaryAnne told me that her daughter Lily loved it last year. So we decided to trek up there on a Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised. For only $7 per adult (kids free) Kylan got to pet pretty much any farm animal you could think of. He ran around going Moo! Baa! Quack! for over an hour scaring more animals and people than I would like to admit.
Ice cream at 11 am? Sure! It was daddy's idea after all...
Inside one of the buildings they had areas of play for different types of agriculture. Kylan could have played in these corn pools forever. He also made a button, planted some strawberries and snacked on fresh pancakes. Next year- the mini tractor races!
Kylan slowly getting used to oversized animals and characters. It took him 5 minutes to warm up but then was hugging him and giving him 5's. When it was time to go he cried and waved bye all the way to the car.
