Introducing: Miss Alayna Rae

We are so excited that Alayna is here! It's amazing how long 9 months takes, but then how quickly everything changes. Alayna made her debut on June 3rd at 3:57am. She was polite enough to wait until after Kylan's bday party to come! How thoughtful! I was actually having contractions throughout the day and during the party but they didn't pick up until dinner was over and the last guests had left around 9pm. By midnight it was obvious the contractions were'nt going away and this was the real deal. We called Grammy and Papa to come watch Ky and headed to the hospital by 1am. At this point contractions were about 4 minutes apart. By the time we checked in and got to a room I was dilated to 7cm. Thankfully my doctor was the one on call that night and he came to check in. I labored for another hour and started pushing by 3:30. Alayna was born just a short while later and doctor barely had to time to put on gloves she came out so fast! We are so blessed that everything went so well and that she's here healthy and beautiful. We are in love!

Mother's day

Katie and Uncle Rick came to visit for Mother's Day. We spent the weekend enjoying the sun and spending time with family. It was wonderful.
